Pastor Lawrence C. McFall Jr., Pastor of the Lamb of God Church, heard the voice of the Lord at a very young age. His father and mother, Lawrence Sr. and Virginia McFall, loved the Lord with all their hearts and they instilled the Lord in Pastor McFall. Lawrence Sr. was a quartet singer and Pastor McFall loved watching his father sing God's praises. His mother Virginia was a strong praying Missionary with a lot of love for the Lord. Pastor McFall asked the Lord, "will you let me sing like my father for you Lord that I may touch the ear of those that might not hear? And God will you teach me how to pray like my mother that I may pray for healing and deliverance in your name?" God blessed Pastor McFall with those gifts and more!

Pastor McFall joined Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church of Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1964 and was baptized by Reverand Maurice Jones. Pastor McFall served very faithfully in that ministry. In 1970 God called Pastor McFall in to the ministry of music where he sang and played drums in his father's singing group The Pilgrim Wonders of Grand Rapids. A year later, he played the drums for his home Church. That same year all the sons of the Pilgrim Wonders got together and formed a group called The Pilgrim Wonder Juniors and they would imitate their fathers and sing God's praises.

In 1973 Pastor McFall took on another musical endeavor and thought he wanted to become a rock star! Slowly but surely he began to fall from God's Grace. He began to travel all over the country singing in clubs, halls, arenas, and fairs 6 to 7 nights a week. His new life would eventually lead up to drugs and alcohol for over 20 years. Pastor McFall eventually hit rock bottom. But as we all know, God was always by his side... right there all the time. His mother's prayers were answered. He made his way through the storm and the rain, and he made his way back to the Lord. One of his friends from The Pilgrim Wonder Juniors came to him after he had been in the world so long and said, "We need to get back together and sing for the Lord." They did, and history was made. The sons of the Pilgrim Wonders were now called the Wonder Boyz.

Pastor McFall joined the Bread of the World Church and Pastor Ernestine Lockett was his Pastor. He served as a good and faithful servant of the Lord for 7 years. When he came into the ministry he was called Brother McFall. Shortly after, he was soon called Deacon McFall, God took him further to become Minister McFall, then Reverand McFall. Now, GLORY BE TO GOD, he is now called Pastor McFall of the Lamb of God Church.

Pastor McFall has come a long way from the help of our Lord Jesus Christ, and he is now truly a family man. Behind every good man, there's a good woman. Pastor McFall married Moyra McFall on December 28th, 1983 and they are blessed with four beautiful children. Joy, David, Rebecca, and Amber. God has also blessed Pastor and Sister McFall with four beautiful grandchildren. Kristopher, Micah, John, and Allyson.
